This work builds on the previously-published review of the mine water channels in the Krkonoše Mts (Pilous 2015b), where three channels in the vicinity of Černý Důl have been also described. Černý Důl was one of the most important metal mining centres in the Krkonoše Mts. Six more channels have been found in this area during a detailed geomorphological mapping project of the Krkonoše Mts National Park (According to the author's findings). All of them originated in order to historical surface gold mining with its highest intensity in the 16th century and they indicate relatively high extent of this mining method in Černý Důl, which has been almost neglected in written sources so far. The old miners were able to use very limited water sources for the mining purpose as it is evidenced from the topographical situation of the channels. Observed abundance of the mine water channels together with the mine trenches and open quarries enabled notable additions or even contradictions to the knowledge about the mining history in Černý Důl.
