Ty byly podrobeny obsahové analýze, jejímž výsledkem je kvantitativně-kvalitativní hodnocení všech aspektů budního hospodářství v tabelární podobě a dále vyhodnocení celkové informační hodnoty každé publikace.
The paper focuses on mountain chalet farming as described in local history and geography publications published in Germany after 1945 by displaced residents of the Giant Mts (Krkonoše in Czech, Karkonosze in Polish). These publications (in German called Heimatbücher) thus represent a source which can be used for research of mountain chalet farming in the first half of the 20th century, shortly before its disappearance. A total of seventeen of these works relate to the municipalities located on the territory of the Krkonoše Mts National Park including the buffer zone, nine of which contain passages about mountain chalet farming. These nine works were subjects of a content analysis, resulting in a quantitative-qualitative evaluation of all aspects of mountain chalet farming in a tabular form and overall informational value of each publication. An overview of the characteristics of mountain chalet farming in these publications is divided into several main topics: meadows, matgrass swards, fields, and livestock farming. Attention is also paid to reproduced contemporary photographs focused on the agricultural motive. The conclusion summarizes the importance of this type of source to deepen our knowledge of mountain chalet farming.
