Different types of managements and their influence on plant communities of grasslands in the Krkonoše Mountains are reviewed in this study. Due to the abandonment, degradation phases are formed and few species become dominate. It was shown that similar communities response to the same management differently even in close neighbourhood of the experimental localities. Most of experiments have been carried on communities of the Nardo-Agrostion tenuis and Polygono-Trisetion alliances. The primary community was not always restored by the original management. The conservation of species-rich mountain meadows of the Krkonoše National Park depends on the regular management.
