The paper presents the results of lichenological researches in the Dolina Łomniczki valley and the Kocioł Łomniczki glacial cirque carried out in the Karkonosze National Park (West Sudetes). 96 taxa of lichenized fungi and 4 species of lichenicolous fungi have been found in this valley. Among the recorded lichen species, 56 were growing on trees (mostly on Acer pseudoplatanus and Sorbus aucuparia), 37 on wood, 18 on soil, 12 on rock, and 12 on bryophytes or plant debris. Among them Chaenotheca stemonea, Icmadophila ericetorum, Lecanora intumescens are rare or endangered in whole Poland. 17 species are new for the lichen biota of the Polish side of the Giant Mts, and Peltigera degenii is reported for the first time from Polish part of the whole Sudetes.
Odnotowano występowanie 96 taksonów porostów i 4 gatunki grzybów naporostowych.
