Prezentováno je detailní rozmístění plazivých větví, kořenujících a odumírajících větví a paěízků v části kolonie, u staršího solitérního keře a 29 let starého semenáčku. Vegetativní rozmnožování bylo potvrzeno i u rodičovských druhů Sorbus aria a Sorbus chamaemespilus.
Sorbus sudetica, endemic woody plant of the Krkonoše Mountains, occures in the number of 145 shrubs mostly on the slopes of glacier cirques. Even though they are fruitful every year, their existence under the extreme stand conditions is bound to root taking (layering) of creeping branches. We present a detailed location of root taking branches, branches growing above the ground, stubs and rotting off branches on an example of a part of the colony as well as an older soliter shrub and a 29-year old seedling. The same vegetative reproduction was validated also in the cases of both parent species Sorbus aria and Sorbus chamaemespilus.
