In this paper methodological backgrounds as well as the initial results of the experiment testing the influence of the different concepts of seedlings distribution on the survival and the growth of the artificial regeneration of Norway spruce Picea abies are tested in the conditions of the upper mountain zone in the Karkonosze National Park. Three concepts of the seedlings distributions are tested: regular - seedlings are planted at the regular spacing (control plots), irregular (random) - seedlings are dispersed in the most suitable patches and in groups - small clumps of the high density in such way so that they could form one large group in future. The influence of the distribution methods on their survival was not confirmed. However, the advantageous influence of the irregular distribution as well as in clumps on their growth and distribution in clumps on the degree of damage from game.
W pracy przedstawiono założenia metodyczne i wstępne wyniki eksperymentu sprawdzającego wpływ różnych sposobów rozmieszczenia sadzonek na przeżywalność i wzrost odnowienia sztucznego świerka pospolitego Picea abies w warunkach regla górnego w Karkonoskim Parku Narodowym.
