Došlo i k potvrzení rozšíření Pinus mugo v posledních dvou stoletích a k šíření Molinia v blízkosti lokalit.
The development of the vegetation of Úpské rašeliniště Mire on the arctic alpine tundra is based on the pollen analysis of five peat profiles. The most important is the profile of so called palsa form on Úpské rašeliniště Mire, which is the oldest one and which is dated to 4490 35 BP. It covers the whole subboreal, the Older Subatlantic and Younger Subatlantic periods. The other profiles bring important data and knowledges about the change from the Subboreal to the Older Subatlantic that joins the studies of the collegues of the Netherland. These studies are confirmed and complemented especially in the area of the climatic changes. In the Older Subatlantic Abies is remarkably rising and Abies, Fagus a Picea form a montane forest. In the Younger Subatlantic a different development of the vegetation has been mentioned with a regard to human settlement. The expansion of Pinus mugo was declarated in the last two centuries as well as the expansion of Molinia in the vicinity of the site.
