On gentle inclined SE slope near Labe river spring (west part of the Giant Mts. tundra zone, 13601385 m a.s.l.) in area of 15 ha blocks of granite in diameter about 1m were recognised. The characteristic of 150 blocks and their associated ground features and vegetation cover are described. Occurance of frontal or lateral mound as well as narrow depressions behind the majority of blocks support the proposal of former or recent movement of blocks i.e. existence of ploughing blocks, one of the interesting periglacial features.
